Registration and Fees


Registration

Conference Services is now accepting online and mail-in registrations. Visit their registration page to register for this symposium.

Registrations received before May 12 will be mailed an acknowledgement/receipt. All symposium materials may be picked up at the registration desk upon arrival. The desk will be open from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 22, at the Michigan League, on the 2nd floor concourse area. The desk will re-open at 7:30 am on Tuesday, May 23, and will be maintained throughout the remainder of the symposium for your convenience.

Fees

The registration fee for the Symposium is $400. A discounted registration fee of $350 is available to all participants whose registration is received on or before Friday, April 7, 2006. This fee includes:

  • admission to all symposium presentations
  • opening reception (Monday evening @ Michigan League Patio Garden)
  • dinner reception (Tuesday evening @ north campus reflecting pool)
  • banquet and museum tour (Wednesday evening @ Detroit Institute of Arts)
  • an abstract book
  • a hardcopy of the proceedings published as a special issue of Nuclear Instruments and Methods A.

The fees for the Department of Homeland Security, Domestic Nuclear Detection Office Topical Meeting have been set at $200 for those not attending the symposium and $50 for those who register for the symposium. Registration for the topical meeting alone does not include the NIM proceedings, but does include the abstract book.

Full-time students may register at a special price of $50, which includes all benefits listed above (including DNDO topical meeting), but excludes the published proceedings, and excludes the banquet/museum tour.

Guest banquet tickets may be purchased for $75 each.

Exhibitors at the symposium are entitled to two complimentary registrations per organization. These registrations exclude the published proceedings, but include the receptions and banquet.

Additional published NIM proceedings may be purchased for $100 per copy.

Payment in US Dollars is required upon submission of registration. Payment will be accepted via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. Your credit card will be charged at the time you complete your online registration and will appear as a charge from Conference Services. Make checks/money orders payable to UM Conference Services and mail them to:

Confirmations

You will receive an email acknowledging your online registration within 48 hours. A complete detailed confirmation, receipt, and information regarding the conference will follow via surface mail, email, or fax. If you do not receive this official confirmation with 10 business days, please email us at: cms.services@umich.edu. Be sure to specify the Radiation Measurements Symposium in all your correspondence.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations received in writing or by fax prior to Friday, May 12, 2006, will be entitled to a full refund, less a $50 handling charge. Those who do not appear at the conference, thereby canceling by default, will not be eligible to receive any refund. Refunds will take approximately six to eight weeks.
