Travel and Ann Arbor Area
Air Transportation
Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is located 30 miles east of Ann Arbor.
Conlin Travel of Ann Arbor will provide the following discounts to conference participants flying Northwest Airlines on domestic and international designated flights:
- 1% discount for tickets priced up to $600
- 8% discount for tickets priced between $600 and $1400
- 14% discount for tickets priced over $1400.
- 14% discount will also be given for business class fares on applicable flights.
Ground Transportation
Golden Limousine will provide round trip sedan and van service between Ann Arbor and Detroit Metro Airport. The pick up location is located at the Ground Transportation center, across the first TWO lanes of traffic away from the terminal. The shuttle runs at the top of each hour (6:00, 7:00, etc.) for reserved passengers only. This shuttle runs from 7 AM until 10 PM. The one way rate for shuttle service is $25 per person. Please call (800) 300-5151 in advance, as there may be an added charge for same day reservations.
Dedicated van and sedan service is also available for those traveling in groups. The one way rate for sedan service is $64 per car for up to 4 passengers. The one way rate for van service is $110 per van for up to 10 passengers. To make reservations, call (800) 300-5151, and identify yourself as part of the RMA 2006 Symposium to receive the special rate. You may call the same toll free number to be directed to your driver upon arrival at DTW.
Parking
Parking is available in Ann Arbor City parking structures for $1.00 per hour. Several suggested structures for symposium parking are:

Located on Washington Street between Division and State. -

Located on S. Forest between S. University and Willard (1/2 mi from Michigan League).
Currency Exchange
There is a currency exchange booth in the lobby of the Detroit Metropolitan Airport International Terminal. A limited selection of foreign currencies may be exchanged. Participants are advised to purchase traveler's checks in U.S. dollars or to exchange money before arriving in the United States.

To receive the special hotel rates, indicate you are with the 2006 Symposium on Radiation Measurements and Applications. Rates are guaranteed until the room block is full, so book early.
